Our client runs a very busy boutique office in the Southern suburbs of Perth and due to expansion plans for 2013 they are going to create a brand new position within the company for a Business Development Manager.

Your sole focus in this exciting position will be to bring in new managements for the company without the need to worry about any property management tasks. Having said this you will need to have an understanding of property management as well as what property investors are looking for in a management company.

You will be required to establish and maintain a prospecting system as well as a follow up system for self generated and company generated leads. They are using My Desktop as a CRM system and this may be all you need to assist you in this part of the BDM process. Also an understanding of REST software or a similar software package will be an advantage for you.

You will be effectively working for yourself but not by yourself and therefore the hours that you work will be up to you, remember though you will be judged by your results and how effective you are in the market place. You will be paid a salary and bonuses (see below) and so you will be expected to go out and hunt down the business, you will need to be proactive in everything that you do as well as thinking outside of the box in how to find new clients and managements.

A little about our Client: Is a boutique office in the southern suburbs who have a small but very effective team that is currently managing in excess of 300 properties. They are a very busy and tight knit team and you may just compliment them well. Our client is very serious about this position and the package on offer reflects this, all they need is someone who shares the same commitment.

What is on offer: The successful person will be offered a starting salary of between $50 – $60K plus super, a company car, fuel and iPad. Your bonuses should see you earning another $25 – $50K per annum as well so it is all here for you.
